Your Consensus Candidate

I am running to be your School Board Trustee because:

  • I want to Protect our students, our parents, and our teachers;
  • I want to Defend our Public Schools; and
  • I want to Fight against Provincial Cuts.
  • I am running now because we all are threatened!
  • I will use my experience to build consensus to achieve results;
  • I will demonstrate results by saving crumbling schools and restoring cuts to curriculum;
  • I will Include Everyone by fighting divisiveness.

Can I count on your support on election day? Please make a donation to my campaign!

Bill 5 Is Unfair

Yesterday, I revised my nomination for the new TSDB Wards 13 Toronto Centre and Ward 11 University Rosedale the new boundaries according to Bill 5.
Boundaries have been significantly expanded, workload increased, salary remains fixed, fundraising maximums increased.
It’s overwhelming with a truncated election period and not what I expected when I first registered. Bill 5 will favour incumbents, and disadvantage independent and marginalized candidates. Especially as a court might overturn Bill 5, which they should, which would further compromise campaigns with fewer resources. Rules are in place for a reason, to provide a more equitable playing field, and this change in the rules mid-election both undermines and compromises democracy, campaigns, and staff’s ability to deliver a fair and equitable result.
